We would first like to acknowledge that the land on which we live and work has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples.

The Canadian Dental Connection website was set up to i) attract and retain oral health providers interested to work in northern, remote and isolated underserviced areas; ii) provide communities with a tool to find oral health providers interested to work in their area; and iii) help prepare oral health professionals for interactions with people in northern, remote and isolated areas.

To achieve these aims, the Canadian Dental Connection website includes:

• A job matching component for oral health clinics and professionals
• Training modules on cultural competency, trauma-informed care and the application of these notions in Indigenous settings

Work on the website is ongoing and it will be updated periodically. We are very happy to receive feedback to improve it via the form on our "Contact Us" page.
